I’m very lucky in that my step-mother has a niece that is an incredibly talented photographer…and, better yet, they love cookies! Before you continue reading, please go check her out at Megan Rigdon Photography! She ordered these for her godson’s 1st birthday, so very sweet. Thanks again for your order, Megan!
Wow, April has been a crazy busy month! Thanks to everyone for their orders and support, you all have been awesome. :) I have a lot of cookies to share so bear with me!!
First up, I had an order for Number 1 cookies. The party was for a bunch of lil ones so I was happy to make these babies colorful. :) And after all the Star Wars cookies, I was happy to not be making black icing!!
And since I had some extra dough, I decided to throw more cookies in there to add a little something. I went with button cookies because they’re so cute and simple…and I love when cute and simple unite. :)
Stay tuned for Frozen themed, Penguin, Tardis, Electric Guitar, and Seattle Seahawks cookies!!!! Have I mentioned I’ve been busy??
So, as mentioned in a prior post, I have a bunch of Star Wars cookie cutters thanks to my grandmother (thanks Grandma!!). While it seems like I’ve made a bunch of Star Wars cookies, typically, they are the popular ones: Storm Troopers and Darth Vader. Well, I happened to get an order where I got to delve deeper into the Star Wars cookie world with Yoda and Princess Leia.
Now after making those, I had some leftover icing and dough which never go to waste in my house! Now I will admit, I’ve never even seen the Star Wars movies – so, it’s not that I’m a huge Star Wars geek. It’s just that I have the cutters and it bothers me when cutters get left out. So, I decided to give my other Star Wars cutters some love…
AND….I’m not even close to done!! I have the Millenium Falcon cutter and request for an Ewok cookie. So many cookies, so little time…
